Merry Christmas Team
A personal letter to the DIGITAL BASE team.
As the year draws to a close I think it’s always nice to look back at the year and analyse how it’s been for you, and for the team around you.
DIGITAL BASE has had a huge year in 2018. We’ve undertaken a complete rebrand and refocused our emphasis on domestic Thai / Asia based clientele.
We’ve also made a transition from an emphasis on technical solutions to creative ones; we’re returning to our roots and having fun again making videos, taking photographs and creating more digital content than ever.
Christmas and New Years, or the ‘silly season’ as we call it Down Under (in Australia) is a time for eating, drinking and relaxing. Even more importantly, it is a time for family and friends.
This year, like so many before it, my family is several thousand kilometres away. I’d like to be able to say my wife and I are going home to catch up with mum & dad, with my sisters, with their kids and with their extended families but, sadly, we’ll be staying here in Bangkok this year.
Luckily, I’ve been able to spend the year with a new family; the DIGITAL BASE family.
Like all families and all close knit communities, we may not always see eye to eye. We may have varied opinions on how best to do something or in which order things should be done.
There’s one thing we can all rely on however; each other’s support.

Are you ready for 2019?
What an explosive year it has been at DIGITAL BASE. This year we have undertaken a complete corporate rebrand, established ourselves as marketing professionals in Bangkok and put out some truly awesome work. We’ve been presented with some great opportunities and worked with some incredible people. Thank you to the DIGITAL BASE team who has made all this so possible.
Before we close down for the year, however, I’d like to take the time to express my thanks to the team for being hunkering down and working their hearts out when it truly mattered.
It’s been a full on year. We’ve undergone many changes, been through some difficult times, got to meet some very interesting people and had the option to work onto some exciting projects. All that and we’ve come out stronger and more ready than ever.
The DIGITAL BASE team and I will be away from the 22nd December 2018 through to the 3rd January 2019.
We are all looking forward to another busy and product year in 2019. I hope we can see you all there.
In the meantime, I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
